I'm not sure what I think about the new Blitzen Trapper album "Wild Mountain Nation" yet. I like it, but parts of it remind me of the Grateful Dead, which I am most definitely NOT a fan of. I'll have to keep it in rotation for a bit and see. Anyway, those guys are going on a summer tour (most of it with David Vandervelde) that hits Atlanta on July 20th. I WILL however be going to that, mainly because a band's live show is as much a factor in my opinion of their music as their album is. Should be interesting.

I hope you managed to see them when they hit ATL, I caught BTrapper / Vandervelde in Philadelphia last night and both are way better live than their repective new albums. A great double bill.
